Windscreen washer Motor E39 Empty Windscreen washer Motor E39

Ive got a 99 523i and need to replace the washer motor. I bought what I thought was the right part but when I went to fit it I found the electrical plug was for rounf pins and the motor has flat pins. Every site I go to says the replacement for mine has flat pins. Have I got an E39 with a different fitting?
