Starting issues after the car has driven and is cooling down Empty Starting issues after the car has driven and is cooling down

I have a BMW 525D, '01 213000km, it starts perfectly when its cold but once warmed up and left for +2hrs it will not start anymore, have to wait about 1 - 2hrs to get it started again, went to BMW and they told me 2 injectors need to be changed, done it but the issue is not gone yet. The car doesnt stotter anymore since replacing the injectors but the starting problem remains.
Any ideas ?? am desperate !!!

I very much doubt injectors would cause the starting issues you describe. You definately have an electrical issue, things that spring to mind would be the starter motor solenoid, but more likely, crank position sensor or cam position sensor. I would not take it directly to bmw, i would take it to a bmw independent specialist or a good local garage with a fault code reader and have them read.
