hi,
Are you losing any coolant?...

It could well be a faulty sensor

It could be the MAF sensor or cam sensor... It is well worth getting the fault codes read for your car... most garages stock the readers these days and its a quick and cheap thing to get done, this can pinpoint the exact sensor at fault, rather than guessing the sensor at fault..

thanks
