e34 530i alloys question

Would later bmw alloys fit our e34 530i? Yes, the standard alloys are nice but i like the look of some M5 type ones, or even the newest diamond cut alloys - would they fit? Totally new to the world of bimmer so please excuse my ignorance. We're mildly pimping the 530i and a set of newer bmw alloys would be ideal if they fit as mrs killingjoker likes those.
