Tyres for 530i
Any advice on tyre prices for my BMW 530i.
I need to renew the front tyres on my BMW, i got a quote of £145.00 inc vat and balancing.
Is this reasonable or am i paying over the top.
The reason i noticed the tyre was low on the inner was that i had a rummble from the front passenger side, first thoughts was that the wheel bearing may be worn, took it into a local garage, they had a look over it and told me the bearings were fine but that the tyre was very worn, get that changed, do the tracking and hopefully that will cure the rummble.
If anyone can advise me more, i would really appreciate it.

Rumbling??
Need to check and double check the suspension at the front. Check the lower ball joints, suspension arm bushes.
These are indeed a week point on those beemers.............get a proper alignment centre to check it out. Otherwise your new tyres may well get eaten well before their time mate.

Re: Tyres for 530i
Thanks for the advice mate.
I'll get the tracking done when the tyres fitted.
I'll look into the lower suspension though.
Cheers.
