Thinking of getting a E90 320i on a 55 plate

As above title...I want to stay with a straight six but cannot really afford a 325 or 330. Anyone have any views on this model? Will this particular 6 cyl model sing just like my E46 328, or will it be a total new concept? I really couldn't tell the difference between my car and an E46 320 in terms of exhaust note, so hopefully the E90 will be the same

Well, the E90 320 is a very refined drive... it will be a little slower than your 328, but the ride and handling is superb!! some say the ride can be hard, but i wouldnt notice it... 0-60 in just under 9 seconds with a fantastic chassis will be good on the twisty roads!..
The exhaust note.. well... this is always been a trend with the six pots and this is no exception... adding and after market air filter makes the sound even louder if thats your thing, but they are really good reliable cars... better than just an all rounder IMO...

So I bought it in the end...that 6 cyl engine and the exaust note sold it to me . Looks like the wife will inherit my E46 now
