having had no problems like this before, suddenly went to start the car after unlocking remotely as usual - Turn on ignition all usual plus the hum of the fuel pump BUT when on overpress the ignition key to start..... Nothing, not even a faint click. Battery is fine - 12.35 volts.
Shorted out the starter motor terminals and starter turns.
Is this an immobiliser prob, as in the key has lost its sync and does this affect the starter cct and not just doors etc?
