316i automatic non start

hi there 2002 e46 316i auto, fault code 2782 exhaust camshaft sensor replaced both sensors and removed cam cover and cleaned out as all gunged up still non start a fault code still there any ideas thanks dc1457

i know this is gunna sound stupid but hyave u had the autobox inhibiter switch check this is easy done by simply remove the wires and bypas with peice of wire ,this switch is to make sure you dont start the car whildt in gear.
